David R. Larson

Greetings!

My name is David R. Larson and I have taught in the Loma Linda University School of Religion, about halfway between Los Angeles and Palm Springs in southern California, since September 1, 1974.

My degrees are from Pacific Union College (B.A.), Claremont School of Theology (D.Min.) and Claremont Graduate University (Ph.D.)

Most people call me "Dave" and that's fine. In settings like this, I use "David R." in hopes of partially distinguising myself from others with identical first and last names. There are so many of us!

Unless indicated otherwise, I write the material on this blog. The views I express are my own, in no way implying approval or agreement by LLU or the Seventh-day Adventist church for which I consider it a privilege to work as a minister.

Why this effort? Because it may be that others will be interested in hearing from those of us who are Christians but not fundamentalists!

For the present, this site is "Ponder Anew 2!" because it is a continuation of www.ponderanew.com. Eventually, after a significant amount of material has been moved from there to here, that address will work for this site too.
